For this project we were to make a working lamp using a CNC machine. I used Adobe Illustrator to design each layer that would be cut out of wood and stacked to create the shape of a head. I then uploaded the design into the CNC software so that it could be cut. Using three 2ftx2ft planks of wood, 21 layers were cut out. 

After the CNC machine did its work, I used a saw to finish cutting out the shapes of wood and then stacked each piece of wood on top of each using using wood glue to adhere. The top few layers I made hollow so I could house a lightning unit in which I chose a RBG LED speaker bulb that can be controlled via remote and blutooth. 

The neck was a little too thick so I used an angle grinder to shape the neck as well as smooth the head shape and remove extraneous pieces of wood
